Test Track 3.0 has officially debuted at EPCOT, offering a new experience inspired by its predecessor, World of Motion. Additionally, Star Wars: Launch Bay and Disney Jr. Play and Dance! at Hollywood Studios will permanently close on September 25, 2025, to make way for a reimagined Magic of Disney Animation experience, which will recreate the animation building in California and feature a new Sorcerer Hat landmark.
Rivers of America Closes to Make Way for Magic Kingdom Expansion
As of Monday, July 7, 2025, the Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island, and the Liberty Square Riverboat at Magic Kingdom have permanently closed to facilitate the construction of a new Cars-themed area, now known as Piston Peak National Park, and a portion of Villains Land in Frontierland. The Walt Disney World Railroad will also operate on a modified route, excluding the Frontierland station, due to this construction.
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away Parade Officially Lighting Up Magic Kingdom Nightly
The new ‘Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away’ nighttime parade has officially begun at Magic Kingdom, marking the park’s first new night parade in nearly a decade. The parade features floats from Moana, Peter Pan, Frozen, and Encanto, and is expected to draw large crowds, especially along Main Street U.S.A. and the Hub.
